As Senator Marco Rubio ponders his political future, a new poll might help him change his mind into running for re-election in Florida.

Rubio currently leads potential Democratic challenger Rep. Patrick Murphy by seven points and Rep. Alan Grayson by eight points, according to a poll released by Quinnipiac.

All other Republican primary challengers lose against the Democrats in the race, according to the poll.

Rubio’s friend Florida Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera is down nine points against Murphy and five points against Grayson.

Developer Carlos Beruff is 12 points behind Murphy seven points behind Grayson.

Former Special Forces commander and CIA veteran Todd Wilcox is 10 points behind Murphy and five points behind Grayson.

Rep. Ron DeSantis polled at 10 points behind Murphy and eight points behind Grayson.

Rep. David Jolly dropped out of the Florida Senate primary race last week, potentially making room for Rubio, should he change his mind about running for re-election. DeSantis and Lopez-Cantera have indicated that they would also drop out of the race if Rubio re-entered the race.

Rubio is enjoying favorable polling numbers, but would face a tough campaign as he spent months campaigning for president and ignoring important votes in the Senate. On the campaign trail, Rubio frequently explained how he was frustrated by serving in the Senate, and wouldn’t run for re-election.

As Rubio re-considers his decision, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee put together an attack video to remind voters how he abandoned the state for his failed presidential campaign.
