VIDEO: Dallas Love Field Officer Shoots Man Allegedly Approaching with ‘Large Rock’

On Friday an officer shot a man outside Dallas Love Field airport who allegedly approached him while carrying a “large rock.”

CNN reports that the suspect’s condition is not known, but a witness named Bryan Armstrong said the suspect “appeared…[to be] approaching the officer with a large rock when he was shot.” Armstrong posted a video of the incident to Instagram.

Nine shots are audible on the video, as are officer commands for the suspect to “get down” and “stay down.” The video also shows other officers arrive on scene and direct waiting passengers to move inside the airport.

A woman can be heard crying and other passengers can be heard trying to ascertain what had just happened.
