Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump is gearing up for the general election by planning an aggressive schedule this coming weekend, campaigning in three swing states more than a month before the Republican National Convention where he’s set to become the official GOP nominee.
Trump is holding campaign rallies in Virginia, Florida and Pennsylvania — all swing states — on Friday and Saturday.
Prior to his evening rally in Virginia on Friday, Trump will be in Washington, D.C. speaking at a conference for conservative grassroots activists.
Presumptive Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton will also be in Washington, D.C. on Friday holding an event with Planned Parenthood.
The only other events, according to her public calendar, for the weekend include a fundraiser with Bill Clinton in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday and another fundraiser on Sunday in Edmonds, Washington.
