Behind the Scenes: Hillary Clinton Emotional Before Historic Speech

In a behind the scenes moment with Hillary Clinton before accepting the nomination, ABC News anchor David Muir walked her to the balcony to view the cheering crowds preparing her for her speech.

“I just want to show you this,” he said. “This is the crowd that is waiting for you.”

“Oh, my gosh. Look at that. Oh!” Clinton responded.

Muir reminded her that eight years ago she conceded to President Barack Obama.

“That’s right. It’s almost hard to take in. It really is,” she replied.

“Is it sinking in?” Muir asked.

“Oh, this is sinking it in, I can tell you that,” she said. “It’s an overwhelming feeling, David, really.”
