Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump is reportedly eyeing one of Cleveland’s large stadiums for his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in July, where the nominee is officially selected.
Two Republican sources close to the plans for the convention, tell CNN “First Energy Stadium, home of the Cleveland Browns, and Progressive Field, home of the city’s Indians baseball team, are the two sites under consideration for Trump’s acceptance speech on the final night of the convention.”
Trump allegedly favors the football stadium.
“It’s going to be a big production,” an adviser to the Trump campaign told CNN. “Given Trump’s profile and how he handles things, nothing is off the table.”
“And he’s going to be intimately involved in it,” added the adviser.
