A Pennsylvania woman who put her neighbors through hell has finally been arrested after allegedly spending two years terrorizing them with constant bouts of loud sex, noisy music at all hours, racist taunts, and unsavory behavior in general.
Police in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, arrested Amanda Marie Warfel, 25, after years of abusive behavior against her neighbors, one of whom is a cancer-stricken teenager.
After years of the abuse, the Saylor family finally began calling police to report the actions of Warfel with whom they shared a wall in a Red Lion town home. The Saylors say that attempts to work out the problem on their own only resulted in Warfel ramping up her activity. But Warfel did not respond to police warnings that her behavior was untoward, either.
“She harassed my kids for two years,” Tanya Saylor said. “We let it go for two years. … I shouldn’t have let it go that long. I should have started calling the police a year ago.”
Police alleged Warfel began a campaign of harassment and intimidation when the Saylors started asking her to be quieter during her constant late night sex romps and parties. Instead of minding her noise, Warfel apparently ramped up her raucous behavior to spite the Saylors.
The Saylors told police that during her loud sex romps, Warfel began to scream out graphic descriptions of what she was doing so the neighbor’s children could hear everything.
The loud music, sex sounds, and parties were so frequent that the Saylors’ children often could not get enough sleep for school the next day.
Worse, one of their teenagers has cancer, and earlier this year spent ten days confined to her room, where the noise and harassment kept her from resting well and further endangered her health.
According to an arrest report, Warfel was “loudly fornicating and banging around her bedroom to the degree that the victims’ dresser and her own bed shook.”
Police also allege Warfel began racially attacking one of the Saylors’ daughters, who is an African American.
“She starts calling my children n*****s and monkeys, and offers them bananas,” Mrs. Saylor said. “It was a daily thing until she went to prison.”
Warfel pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and harassment charges stemming from incidents police charged her for in February and March, according to court documents. She was sentenced to between 45 and 90 days in jail.
The discourteous neighbor is still scheduled to appear on other charges and will be staying in York County Prison at least until the end of June, authorities reported.
