GOP frontrunner Donald Trump isn’t changing his campaign style, telling is supporters, “I have to rant and rave.”
During Trump’s afternoon rally on Saturday in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the billionaire told roughly 1,400 supporters, “You know, being presidential’s easy — much easier than what I have to do,” adding, “Here, I have to rant and rave. I have to keep you people going. Otherwise you’re going to fall asleep on me, right?”
Trump said he promises to build the wall along the southern border with Mexico and follow through with other various campaign proposals.
“Everything I say I’m going to do, folks, I’ll do,” Trump promised his supporters.
Trump’s vow comes after his new senior advisor, Paul Manafort, privately told Republican National Committee members at a meeting in Florida that Trump has been “projecting an image” so far while campaigning, and that “the part that he’s been playing is now evolving.”
