GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump says the GOP has a perception problem with how the delegate selection process is being handled through its primary rules.
“This really upsets people,” Eric Trump stated, referencing Arizona’s GOP primary last month during an interview on “Fox and Friends.” Trump won Arizona’s GOP primary election, but more delegates reportedly went to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
“Then fast-forward two months and all of a sudden those people’s opinions, those people’s time, that’s stripped from them?” Trump questioned, challenging, “That’s not democracy. I mean, that’s just not democracy.”
He added that he believes his father will clinch the GOP nomination, predicting a big win in New York on Tuesday.
“We’re going to win,” Trump stated. “We’re going to win big tomorrow. [Then] we’re going to win big on the 26th. It’s going to start tomorrow.”
