Late Tuesday night, four juveniles allegedly invaded a home and were met with a burst of .380 gunfire, which wounded two, while the other two fled unharmed.

According to WTAE, the juveniles allegedly entered the Jeannette, Pennsylvania, home through a window around 11:00 p.m.

The 21-year-old resident opened fire on the four with a semiautomatic pistol, striking two of the alleged intruders in the leg.

The wounded boys were ages 13 and 16. The other two alleged intruders were 15 and 16.

After the incident ended, the resident logged onto Facebook and posted, “Thank God for the right to bear arms.” He said he “kept [his] house safe” because of the ability to be armed. He was happy he was able to keep his family safe, though it “took all six shots out of [his] little .380” to do so.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that the two teens who were not injured are being held at the Regional Youth Services Center. The two who were shot will be taken to the center after medical treatment is completed.
