Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani reacted to Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton foreign policy speech given earlier in the day at Stanford University, which included her policy proposals on dealing with the threat of ISIS on the heels of the terrorist attacks in Brussels.
According to Giuliani, there was much to be desired with regards to the details of Clinton’s plan.
“If you are talking about doing what she wants to do, which is to rally our forces against ISIS, you have got to come back to the White House, you got to sit in the situation room, and you can’t leave until you come up with a plan.
The former NYC insisted she had an opportunity to rally those forces while secretary of state. However, she did not he argued, and added she might be responsible for the rise of ISIS.
“She had her chance to do it,” he added. “She helped create ISIS. I mean, Hillary Clinton could be considered a founding member of ISIS.”
Host Bill O’Reilly pressed Giuliani on that statement, to which he went on to argue was due in part to the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq.
“By being part of an administration that withdrew from Iraq,” he replied. “By being part of an administration that let Maliki run Iraq.”
