Friday on “The Big John Howell Show” on WLS-AM in Chicago, Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) weighed in on the polical battle brewing over President Barack Obama’s nomination, Judge Merrick Garland, to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court left by late Justice Antonin Scalia, by saying the Republican Seante leadership needs to “man up” and give Garland a vote.
Kirk said, “It’s just man up and cast a vote. The tough thing about these senatorial jobs is you get yes or no votes. Your whole job is to either say yes or no and explain why.”
