Hillary Clinton Takes Aim at Donald Trump in Primary Victory Speech

Hillary Clinton took dead aim at Donald Trump in her primary victory speech in West Palm Beach, Florida Tuesday night after slaughtering Bernie Sanders across the board in the day’s Democratic primaries.

Clinton pledged support for various minority rights and mandatory equal pay for women while speaking of an illegal immigrant woman who “dreams of a day when deportations end.”

“The next commander in chief has to be able to defend our country, not embarrass it,” Clinton said. “When we hear a candidate for president call for rounding up 12 million immigrants, banning all Muslims from the United States, when he embraces torture, that doesn’t make him strong, it makes him wrong…we should be breaking down barriers not building walls.”

“To be great we can’t be small…this isn’t just about Donald Trump, it’s about all of us…we have to take on all forms of inequality and discrimination…and that starts with standing with President Obama when he nominates a justice for the Supreme Court.”

Clinton dedicated her campaign to various people she allegedly met, including an Ohio steelworker and a mother of five in Miami who saw the father of her children deported.

“She dreams of a day when deportations end,” Clinton said, making one of her boldest statements yet on her policy of open immigration.

Clinton also incorporated China into the discussion, taking a cue from Trump, pledging not to allow China or Wall Street to take advantage of people.

Clinton defeated Sanders to such an extent that Sanders is pretty much done at this point as a challenger. Sanders will likely keep campaigning, but he’s basically Bill Bradley now from 2000. He’s not going to win. He had a good run, but Democrats now will probably use him as a get-out-the-vote tool. In other words, the way they wanted to use him originally before he briefly scared the beejesus of them in the New Hampshire primary and elsewhere.

Clinton beat Sanders in Florida 64.4 to 33.3 with 90 percent of precincts reporting.

Clinton won Ohio 60.4 to 38.5 with 24 percent reporting.

Clinton won North Carolina 56 to 39.8 with 33 percent reporting.

As of press time Clinton was beating Sanders in Illinois 53.6 to 45.5 with 23 percent reporting.

Clinton was also winning Missouri by a close margin.
