Donald Trump Wins GOP Michigan Primary, Marco Rubio Struggles to Reach Delegate Threshold

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump won the GOP Michigan primary on Monday night.

Fox News called the election for Trump around 9.00 PM eastern, with the billionaire leading the GOP field with 37.7 percent of the vote.

With roughly 22 percent of the total vote in, Ohio Gov. John Kasich was set to take second-place with 26.3 percent.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was ranked third at 22.1 percent, while Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) closed out in fourth place with nine percent.

The threshold to receive any of the 59 delegates in the state of Michigan is 15 percent.
