On MSNBC Saturday, political analyst and Hiram College professor Dr. Jason Johnson discussed the Democratic presidential nominee race, saying Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) will has no real chance, but will continue his campaign until “May or June.”
Dr. Johnson also acknowledged how Sanders has “made Hillary Clinton a better candidate” by making her care about “regular workers’ issues.”
“Bernie Sanders has made Hillary Clinton a better candidate. Does anyone believe Hillary Clinton would care about income inequality? Does anyone believe Hillary would be caring about regular workers’ issues or Flint, Michigan if it weren’t for Bernie Sanders pushing? Of course she wouldn’t. So, in many respects he’s staying in the race because he’s forcing the likely front runner and likely nominee to address the issues of his constituency.”
