Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council President Chris Crane is publicly detailing, on camera, Marco Rubio’s treatment of law enforcement.
In his address, Crane outlined for the crowd why Sen. Rubio does not have “the character of a commander-in-chief.”
“I am here today to urge everyone of you and everyone in Alabama and every American, simply: Please do not vote for Senator Marco Rubio for President of the United States,” Crane said.
Breitbart obtained the video via News Universe. [Note: the footage is somewhat shaky for the first one to two minutes]
Crane explained how Rubio’s immigration plan was “a public safety and national security nightmare.”
“It’s as if the criminals wrote it themselves,” Crane said. At the time, Marco Rubio repeatedly declared that his bill– which would have given amnesty to sex offenders, gang members and dangerous criminal convicts– was “The Toughest Border Security & Enforcement Measures In U.S. History.”
Crane warned the crowd that the Gang of Eight legislation is a bill “you will see again, a bill that will pass if Sen. Rubio is elected as President of the United States.”
After Crane initially detailed how Sen. Rubio treated law enforcement “like absolute trash” in a print interview in Breitbart News– Rubio immediately began to demean Crane’s reputation on national television. For instance, on Friday Rubio falsely told Fox News viewers that Crane’s criticisms about the bill pertained to “labor union stuff” rather than the substantive concerns Crane had about how Rubio’s bill would negatively impact the safety of the American people.
Rubio did not explain how Crane’s request not to give amnesty to sex offenders qualifies as “more kind of labor union stuff.”
Chris Crane is an ICE officer of 13 years. He is a former U.S. Marine. He is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. When President Obama took his first unconstitutional executive amnesty, Crane and nine of his fellow officers sued the administration to try to stop the lawless amnesty. Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions– who yesterday gave his influential endorsement to Donald Trump for President– has described Crane as “an American hero” for his whistle blowing on immigration corruption.
