Monday on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” host Bill O’Reilly dismissed the controversy involving Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump and his alleged reluctance to disavow endorsements from David Duke and the Klu Klux Klan.
O’Reilly said he anticipated the media will inevitably be more aggressive with Trump and pointed to its promotion of this story line as a preview.
“The preview is this David Duke stuff, a complete non-story,” O’Reilly said. “I’ve spoken with Trump hundreds of times and I’ve never heard him run down anyone because of race. He doesn’t care about that.”
