Marco Rubio: ‘Blue Lives Matter’

During a rally in Georgia today, Sen. Marco Rubio recognized the important service provided by the nation’s military and law enforcement.

Rubio referred to a report of three police officers who were shot on the job in Virginia, where he was campaigning yesterday. One of the officers was killed in the shooting incident, police officer Crystal Hamilton, a Marine veteran.

“Blue lives matter!” shouted one of his supporters, as the crowd cheered and applauded.

“Blue lives matter,” Rubio repeated. “Not only do blue lives matter, but I want to thank our veterans and our police officers and our firefighters for what they do for our country.”
