Tuesday after Fox News declared Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump as the winner of the Nevada Republican Caucus, Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn weighed in on the outcome in his home state.
Wynn told “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier he saw Trump as “most likely” the GOP nominee.
“[T]hey’re morphing with this man,” Wynn said. “At first, I don’t think everybody took him so seriously. And now, we have a situation where Trump looks most likely the nominee for the Republican Party. There is so much riding on this election. I think everybody is going to want to pull to make sure we get a Republican president and Republican Senate and the House.
Later in the segment, Wynn described the GOP contest as Trump’s “to lose.”
“I think Trump looks like — it’s his to lose,” Wynn added. “In bookmaking operations they talk about the favorite. He’s the favorite. But what is good news is that there is a lot of talent on the Republican side. Donald, Rubio, all of them. They’re all really qualified people and I think a lot more qualified than what I’m seeing on the other side.”
