GOP frontrunner Donald Trump said he would like to punch a protester in the face during his evening rally on Monday night in Nevada, ahead of the Silver State’s caucuses on Tuesday night.
“There’s a guy, totally disruptive, throwing punches,” Trump said of a protester at his campaign rally in Las Vegas. “We’re not allowed to punch back anymore.”
“I love the old days. You know what they used to do to guys like that when they were in a place like this? They’d be carried out on a stretcher, folks,” Trump charged. “I’d like to punch him in the face.”
Trump said the protester was “nasty as hell.”
“CNN reported that the man did not appear to be fighting with security officers escorting him out of the rally, despite Trump’s claim,” The Hill noted.
According to Breitbart News’ Joel Pollak who attended the rally, the protester had allegedly been swinging punches, although Pollak didn’t see the altercation personally.
“Trump noted the smirk on the guy’s face, and the fact that security had been “nice” to him, and that no one punched back, but said he wished it were otherwise,” Pollak recalled.
