In a New Hampshire interview at his own campaign rally, Sen. Marco Rubio talked about how his crowds were growing “here in Iowa.”
Rubio was responding to a question from Fox News host Megyn Kelly about his tough debate on Saturday, and whether he was too scripted, as New Jersey governor Chris Christie suggested.
“I can tell you that we raised more money online in that debate, than any other debate that we’ve had,” he said. “I can tell you our crowds have grown every day here in Iowa afterwards,” Rubio said.
Rubio hosted his interview with Kelly before a rally last night in Nashua, H.N. in the snowy weather with the crowd in the background.
Rubio said he would continue repeating his message about President Obama’s plan to remake America into something different than it was, because he believed it “passionately.”
“In the end it’s what I believe, every word I say in my campaign are things I believe,” he said.
Kelly also questioned Rubio about vaccines.
“I think all children should be vaccinated, I really do,” he said.
“Do they cause autism?” asked Kelly.
“No they do not,” Rubio replied.
She also asked Rubio whether Native American Halloween costumes should be banned.
Rubio replied that free speech in America allowed people to be offensive, but suggested that society argued that people shouldn’t be offensive even if there was not a law banning it.
