A man died one mile into the 12th Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge race in Raleigh, NC.
Those considered “Challengers” must eat a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the middle of the race.
The 58-year-old man dropped out after a mile due to chest pains. Doctors declared him dead at Rex Hospital.
