Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders made his “Saturday Night Live” debut this weekend, appearing in a skit with Larry David, who does a nice impersonation of the candidate.
The two were on a boat that was on the way to New York and it was beginning to sink.
Bernie said, “We need to unite and work together if we’re all going to get through this!”
David’s character responded, “Sounds like socialism to me.”
“Democratic Socialism,” Sanders corrected.
David asked, “What’s the difference?”
Sanders responded, “Huge difference.”
