CNN Town Hall Asks Sanders, not Hillary, About Age–Again!

For the second CNN town hall in a row, the host asked Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) about his age, but did not ask Hillary Clinton the same question.

A member of the audience in Nashua, New Hampshire asked Sanders: “Do you see any inability to serve two terms?”

Host Anderson Cooper chimed in: “You would be eighty-three at the end of your second term.”

Sanders answered: “Let’s not be ageist here! I am, thank God, in good health.”

Clinton, however, received no such questions. The former Secretary of State is 68 years old and would be 77 years old at the end of two terms.

In the last Democratic town hall, also hosted by CNN, Chris Cuomo asked Sanders about his age and health, but not Clinton.

As Breitbart News’ Adelle Nazarian noted at the time: “Questions have been raised about [Clinton’s] personal health, stemming from a concussion and blood clot which resulted in a brain injury; the symptoms of the injury are believed to long-lasting.”

Clinton would be the second-oldest person to serve in the Oval Office, if elected; Sanders would be the oldest.
