Wednesday on Bloomberg’s “Go,” chairman and senior executive of InterActiveCorp Barry Diller discussed Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
Diller expressed distaste of Trump and doubted he would be president.
“I haven’t spoken to him in 30 years and I would literally cross the street to avoid him,” Diller said.
He continued, “I really do believe May, June, July — to paraphrase Gerald Ford, our long national nightmare will be over.”
When questioned by the hosts about Trump’s popularity Diller said, “There is no way he becomes the president,” adding his popularity won’t be enough in the general election.
