Matthews: 'I Do Believe In Reparations' If You Can Figure Out 'What It Would Be'

MSNBC’s “Hardball” host Chris Matthews said that “I do believe in reparations, if he could figure out what it would be” in a discussion on Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) position on the issues on Wednesday.

Matthews initially joked, “Socialism and reparations. There’s a winner.”

He then added, “By the way, I do believe in reparations, if you could figure out what it would be.”
