CHARLESTON, South Carolina — GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina tells Breitbart News South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley hit the “wrong note” during her response to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.
“Americans are angry and they’re frustrated and they’re fed up and they’re afraid,” Fiorina said. “That anger and frustration is real.”
President Obama lectures us about it. Donald Trump bamboozles us. Hillary Clinton says whatever she has to say to gain the power she craves.
What we need is a solution to our anger, our frustration and our fear. That’s why I’m running for president because I think I offer the leadership that will solve these problems. We have to take our country back. We need to restore our citizen government. We have to cut our government down to size. We got to put people back to work and we need to keep this nation safe.
Fiorina first commented on Haley’s response in a radio interview conservative host Mike Gallagher, agreeing with him that Haley’s speech “was the wrong note.”
Many conservatives said Haley was wrong for attacking GOP frontrunner Donald Trump and for saying the Republican Party shares responsibility with President Obama on politically divisive issues.
