Friday at the White House press briefing, press secretary Josh Earnest was asked about the possibility of President Barack Obama doing anymore on gun control beyond this announced executive action and Earnest replied that he wouldn’t rule that out as a possibility.

Earnest said, “Based on the most recent analysis done, the answer to that question is yes, the president has done as much as he can. That said, I wouldn’t rule out that at some point over the next 12 months that the president’s team goes back to take another look and see if there is more that can be done, but I’ll tell you that there is nothing that we are keeping in reserve in terms of additional action that the president could take.”
