On Monday’s broadcast of “The Kelly File” on the Fox News Channel, GOP presidential hopeful former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) reacted to the potential feud brewing between Donald Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, and Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner.
Bush questioned the wisdom of Trump referencing Hillary Clinton’s husband former President Bill Clinton and his indiscretions when taking on Hillary Clinton over charges of sexism. But he declared that neither Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump were “trustworthy.”
“I don’t think it’s a good strategy to talk about the past,” Bush said. “We need to talk about the future. The fact is Hillary Clinton is not trustworthy. She’s under investigation by the FBI. That ought to be enough to know she’s not someone you can trust. But Donald Trump isn’t either. The simple fact is we’re at a point in time in our country’s history where we need proved leadership to fix big complex things and restore America’s might again to keep out country safe.”
