Saturday on MSNBC, Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart discussed the upcoming Democratic debate and candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
Capehart noted that this week’s GOP debate was focused “heavily” on terrorism. He then said that topic is something that Sanders “seems to have a problem with,” and added “he doesn’t want to go there.”
“The GOP debate this past week was focused heavily on terrorism, international affairs. Sen. Sanders seems to have a problem with terrorism, foreign affairs, international relations. He doesn’t want to go there. Can he get away with that tonight if all of the questions are about terrorism and Paris and San Bernardino?”
