Donald Trump says he wouldn’t support impeachment hearings for President Obama, as it would only serve to make him a “martyr,” as the radio host suggested.
Trump agreed with the host’s martyr imagery today during an interview with “Info Wars” radio host Alex Jones. Trump “largely demurred when Jones asked if it was time to try to toss Obama out of office,” according to Politico.
Trump shifted the discussion to talking about establishment Republicans for failing to fulfill so many past campaign promises.
“The best thing that we have going with Obama is that he’s got a year left,” Trump said, adding that wasn’t enough time to go through the hearings.
Jones asked if the hearings would make Obama a martyr, and Trump agreed before pivoting away to say that he was most angry at Republicans for failing to fulfill their promises to voters.
As Breitbart News has already reported, Trump also used the time to attack Hillary Clinton, saying she shouldn’t be allowed to run for President.
Donald Trump says that Hillary Clinton shouldn’t be allowed to run for president, and adds that her greatest legacy is that “she was a horrible Secretary of State.”
Trump, appearing on the Alex Jones show, discussed the prospect of Hillary Clinton winning the 2016 election and declared that she shouldn’t be able to run in the first place.
“She is so corrupt, she shouldn’t even be allowed to run” Trump said. “Frankly, her greatest legacy is she was a horrible Secretary of State.”
