Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough took aim at Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly for rhetoric she used to attack Donald Trump during a segment with Steve Hayes and Roger Stone on her Monday “The Kelly File” show.
During the segment, Kelly confronted Stone, a former campaign adviser for Trump, for some of Trump’s previous statements and called Stone’s responses “a dodge.”
Scarborough reacted to Kelly’s tact and described her as being like his left-leaning MSNBC colleague Rachel Maddow.
“Right now it is likely that Donald Trump continues to do very well,” Scarborough said. “And Mika, I saw Megyn Kelly last night for a few minutes. She sounded like Rachel Maddow, attacking Trump. I mean it was vicious. And then you have Bill Kristol saying he will never vote for Donald Trump. A civil war is coming in the Republican party if this continues and I think that’s the most likely scenario.”
