Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Republican presidential candidate Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) said his rival Donald Trump will not be the nominee because “80 percent of Republicans don’t support him.”

Kasich said, “It’s about whether we want to have a leader who unifies the country. Donald Trump has criticized and insulted women, his Hispanics, Muslims, reporters.”

Guest host Martha Raddatz asked, “Do believe what Donald Trump is saying that he didn’t know he was insulted the reporter?”

Kasich said, “He has insulted other reporters this one he absolutely mocked who was disabled. Martha, you’re been offend  by him I think. We’re all are. We need a leader who brings us together not a leader that’s separating us from one group to another.”

Raddatz asked, ‘Does that mean you would not support him if he was the nominee?”

Kasich said, , “He won’t be the nominee. He may have 20% of the vote. 80% of Republicans don’t support him. Somebody has to call him out on this kind of divisive language its outrageous.”

Kasich added, “I think he’s very divisive and I don’t believe he’ll last. I know all of the press keeps speculating on what he was going do. You said he was going to fall. Now you’re all up in the air maybe he’s going to make it. He’s not going to make it, Martha because somebody who divides this current here in the 21st century, who’s calling names of women and Muslims and Hispanics and mocking reporters and then saying I didn’t do it but he did do it. It is just not going to happen. Everybody need to get over it and take a deep breath. At the end of the day, we have serious problems.”
