Monday on Bloomberg’s “With All Due Respect,” host Mark Halperin said the controversy that could bring down Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s support is the suggestion to register Muslims “or at least not ruling it out.”
Halperin said, “I believe that the registry could be the thing that brings him down. It’s so controversial. It is so out of step with what a lot of Americans believe. He is squirellly about it and if you take his words literally, he is supporting it or at least not ruling it out, I should say, but this is the kind of thing—and maybe this thing— when voters get serious, I think could rule him out.”
