Naturally, in order to protect Hillary Clinton, our corrupt and useless DC Media has completely ignored the fact that during Saturday’s Democrat presidential debate, the frontrunner cravenly invoked 9/11 to justify all the Wall Street money her campaign has and is taking in. According to The Daily News, some 9/11 families, however, are not ignoring it.
First, here is Clinton’s utterly shameful comment:
I represented New York on 9/11 when we were attacked. Where were we attacked? We were attacked in downtown Manhattan where Wall Street is. I did spend a whole lot of time and effort helping them rebuild. That was good for New York. It was good for the economy. And it was a way to rebuke the terrorists who had attacked our country.
Here’s a sampling of the rebuke.
“She’s wrong and 9/11 shouldn’t be brought into politics like that,” said Jim Riches, a former FDNY deputy fire chief whose son died in the attacks. “She was way out of line doing that comparison and she owes an apology to the families and anyone else.”
Riches said he’s a registered Democrat and has voted for Clinton’s party for most of his life — but he is “leaning the other way” this election, partly over her comments.
“She’s saying ‘don’t question me for the money I’ve taken on my campaign because they donated on 9/11.’ That’s ridiculous,” said Riches. …
“She knows better. She’s a smart woman, she should know better,” he said. “Hillary’s been a champion for the 9/11 community, she was there in the beginning for the Zadroga Bill (to pay medical bills for first responders), but now she’s running for president … and you don’t use something like that in conversation or in a debate.”
The DC Media can only protect Hillary for so long. Whether they like it or not, this is going to be a huge campaign issue. The establishment political press can no longer control the national discussion. The base indecency of using 9/11, the deaths of thousands of innocent Americans, to justify your greedy money grab cannot and will not stand.
