Scarborough on Dem Refusal to Say ‘Radical Islam’: ‘How Stupid Do They Think We Are?’

Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough reacted to the responses of the three Democratic presidential candidates of a question about their reluctance to use the words “radical Islam” in Saturday night’s debate on CBS after being prodded by debate moderator John Dickerson.

Scarborough seemed to indicate their responses and reasoning for not describing recent events including the string of terror attacks in Paris last week as “radical Islam” as an insult to his intelligence.

“How stupid do they think we are?” Scarborough said. “How stupid? Nobody’s calling all Muslims terrorists. Nobody’s suggesting the majority of Muslims are terrorists. But how stupid do they think we are? You have to recognize the threat, the threat is radical Islam.”
