Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush just about sealed his fate during the CNBC Republican presidential debate in Boulder, Colorado.

To judge how awful Bush did during the debate, one only had to look as far as his crooked tie. You would think that his handlers backstage would have straightened his tie before letting him go on stage, or even done so during the breaks in the action, right?

Nope.

I expect Bush to drop out of the race in short order. Why would he stay in a race where his campaign continues to circle the political toilet bowl?

Bush is smart and will not continue on if he faces debate stage relegation.

From the moment he walked onto the stage, Jeb Bush showed the country that he was not the “joyful tortoise” he once referred to himself as, rather a somewhat angry politician who feels entitled to the Republican presidential nomination.

Upon being introduced to the audience, Bush walked up to his position on the stage alongside Marco Rubio, but refused to acknowledge his political protégé.

Most of us expected Bush to go after Rubio, considering that he was hemorrhaging supporters and key donors to the younger Rubio.

Bush seized the moment to attack Rubio when his missed votes in the Senate were brought up, but unfortunately for Bush, Rubio was ready to counterpunch him with a few political MMA strikes.

It was not pretty.

Bush asked Rubio to either fulfill his duties as senator of Florida or resign his post.

Rubio eviscerated Jeb Bush with kindness.
