Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina said CNBC’s debate moderators deserved to be booed by the audience and “people have figured out that the media really is not objective” on Thursday’s “Sean Hannity Show.”
Fiorina said she was glad to see the Republican candidates unite against CNBC’s moderators, “and I was also glad to see that the audience soundly booed the moderators. I mean, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that happen. It was well deserved. You know, it wasn’t just bias honestly, I think there was a lack of preparation, in many cases, but a clear set of sort of gotcha, and hopefully that will be kind of a wake-up call. There’s a reason that the media is now less trusted and less respected than Congress. You know, that’s a pretty low bar. There’s a reason the media’s less respected than Congress, because people have figured out that the media really is not objective, and that so much of what goes in the media is not about journalism at all, it’s about entertainment.”
