According to a report from 11Alive, a seven-year-old boy has undergone testing after being pricked by a meth-laced needle hidden inside a teddy bear.
Police were called when the boy was hurt after finding the black and white-spotted teddy bear near trash cans in the playground at his school in Carson City, NV.
Authorities found five syringes in the teddy bear, all of which tested positive for methamphetamine. In addition to the meth-laced teddy bear, the playground was also littered with alcohol containers, according to authorities.
The playground area is exposed to public uses because it is shared by a joint agreement with the Carson City Parks and Recreation Department for public activities.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
