First Lady Michelle Obama is out with her first Spotify playlist, featuring female artists in celebration of the “International Day of the Girl.”

As listed on the White House website, coming in at the number one spot to promote education for girls is Beyoncé’s “Girls Who Run the World,” the lyrics of which are as follows:

Girls! We run this mother (yeah)

Girls! We run this mother (yeah)

Girls! We run this mother (yeah)

Girls! We run this mother (yeah)

Who run the world? Girls (girls)

Who run the world? Girls (girls)

Who run the world? Girls (girls)

Who run the world? Girls (girls)

Who run this mother? Girls

Who run this mother? Girls

Who run this mother! Girls

Who run this mother! Girls

Who run the world? Girls (girls)

Who run the world? Girls (girls)

Who run the world? Girls (girls)

Who run the world? Girls (girls)

Some of them men think they freak this like we do

But no they don’t

Make your cheque come at they neck

Disrespect us no they won’t

Boy don’t even try to touch this

Boy this beat is crazy

This is how they made me

Houston, Texas baby

This goes out to all my girls that’s in the club rocking the latest

Who will buy it for themselves and get more money later

I think I need a barber

None of these ni**as can fade me

I’m so good with this

I remind you I’m so hood with this

Also on Mrs. Obama’s Spotify list, to urge the advancement of young girls, is Bang, Bang, by Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj. The lyrics are as follows:

She got a body like an hour glass

But I can give it to you all the time

She got a booty like a Cadillac

But I can send you into overdrive (oh)

(You’ve been waiting for that…

Step on up swing your bat)

See anybody could be bad to you,

You need a good girl to blow your mind, yeah

[Hook – Jessie J:]

Bang bang into the room (I know ya want it)

Bang bang all over you (I’ll let ya have it)

Wait a minute lemme take you there (ah)

Wait a minute till ya (ah)

Bang bang there goes your heart (I know ya want it)

Back, back seat of my car (I’ll let ya have it)

Wait a minute lemme take you there (ah)

Wait a minute till ya (ah)

[Verse 2 – Ariana Grande:]

She might’ve let you hold her hand in school

But I’m a show you how to graduate

No, I don’t need to hear you talk the talk

Just come and show me what your momma gave (oh, yeah)

(Okay you’ve got a very big shhh,

Mouth but don’t say a thing)

See anybody could be good to you,

You need a bad girl to blow your mind

[Verse 3 – Nicki Minaj:]

(You know what, girls?

Let me show you how to do.)

It’s Myx Moscato

It’s friends in the bottle

It’s Nicki full throttle

It’s all, all

Swimming in the grotto

We winning in the lotto

We dipping in the pot of blue pho-to

Kidding so good

This drippin’ on wood

Get a ride in the engine that could go

Batman Robin it bang, bang, cocking it

Queen Nicki dominate, prominate

It’s me, Jessie, and Ari

If they test me they sorry

Riders umph like Harley

Then pull off in this Ferrari

If he hangin’ we bangin’

Phone rangin’, he slangin’

It ain’t karaoke night but get the mic ’cause I’m singing (uh)

Not to be outdone on the First Lady’s playlist to help raise up impoverished girls is Doo Wop (That Thing) by Lauryn Hill. The lyrics include:

It’s been three weeks since you were looking for your friend

The one you let hit it and never called you again

‘Member when he told you he was ’bout the Benjamins?

You act like you ain’t hear him, then give him a little trim

To begin, how you think you’re really gon’ pretend

Like you wasn’t down and you called him again?

Plus, when you give it up so easy you ain’t even foolin’ him

If you did it then, then you’d probably f**k again

Talking out your neck, sayin’ you’re a Christian

A Muslim, sleeping with the gin

Now that was the sin that did Jezebel in

Who you gon’ tell when the repercussions spin?

Showing off your ass cause you’re thinkin’ it’s a trend

Girlfriend, let me break it down for you again

You know I only say it cause I’m truly genuine

Don’t be a hard rock when you really are a gem

Baby girl, respect is just a minimum

Ni**as f**ked up and you still defending ’em

Mrs. Obama’s Spotify playlist to celebrate girls also includes Aretha Franklin’s classic R.E.S.P.E.C.T. and Diana Ross’ Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.

The First Lady’s full playlist is on the White House website.

The International Day of the Girl was celebrated on October 11 and, according to the UN website, is “an opportune time to consider the importance of social, economic, and political investment in the power of adolescent girls as fundamental to breaking the intergenerational transmission of poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination and to achieving equitable and sustainable development outcomes.”

“Adolescent girls have the right to a safe, educated, and healthy life, not only during these critical formative years, but also as they mature into women,” the website explains. “If effectively supported during the adolescent years, girls have the potential to change the world – both as the empowered girls of today and as tomorrow’s workers, mothers, entrepreneurs, mentors, household heads, and political leaders.”
