Columnist Pat Buchanan argued Republicans are “on their knees praying” Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) wins the nomination on Friday’s “McLaughlin Group.”
Buchanan argued that Sanders had a good debate, and is a “perfect foil” for Hillary Clinton before stating, “Bernie really did energize his base, and he’s done a tremendous job of doing that. But, the Republicans, I can tell you, they’re on their knees praying that Bernie gets this nomination.”
