Thursday at the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Texas, Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton doubled down on her debate claim that she had seen the details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, which she said were made public a “week or so ago.”
For the second day in a row, White House press secretary Josh Earnest contradicted Clinton when asked specifically about her comments in Texas and if she received an “advanced copy.”
Earnest said ‘The official, final text’ of the Trans-Pacific Partnership has not been released, but when it does we will make sure everybody has an opportunity to see it.”
