President Obama is expected to take advantage of the cooler fall weather to host another concert at the White House featuring artists like Queen Latifah, Smokey Robinson, James Taylor and Usher.

According to the White House, the concert will be held as “A Celebration of American Creativity” to honor the 50th anniversary of the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act.

Obama and the First Lady will be attending the concert, which will feature several artistic performances including special readings and remarks from Carol Burnett.

Other artists attending the event include Buddy Guy, MC Lyte, Audra McDonald, Keb’ Mo’, Trombone Shorty, Esperanza Spalding, and Brian Stokes Mitchell.

The event is part of the first couple’s “Performance at the White House” series of concerts which have celebrated different genres of music in America.

James Taylor is a favorite of the administration, particularly after he traveled to Paris with Secretary of State John Kerry to help smooth relations with France after Obama declined an invitation to participate in a unity rally of world leaders against terrorism.

Usher performed at Obama’s Inauguration and in 2013, Queen Latifah participated in a White House concert offering a tribute to Memphis Soul, while Smokey Robinson attended multiple concerts at the White House.

The First Lady hosted a group of children to meet a few of the artists this afternoon to talk about the original Arts and Humanities bill signed in 1965.

“Way back in 1965, President Johnson created the National Endowments for the Arts and the Humanities,” she said. “And he did this because he wanted to promote the creativity that makes our nation so special and so unique.”
