CNN’s Henderson: Hillary ‘Played the Gender Card’ ‘In a Pretty Clever Way’

CNN Political Reporter Nia-Malika Henderson argued Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “played the gender card, if you can call it that, in a pretty clever way” during CNN’s post-debate coverage on Tuesday.

Henderson said she thought Hillary “played the gender card, if you can call it that, in a pretty clever way, not only in her opening answer, but also in her closing statement, and also using it as an argument for why she really is an outsider.”
