Monday on Bloomberg’s “With All Due Respect,” co-hosts John Heilemann and Mark Halperin discussed President Barack Obama’s “60 Minutes” interview in which he said Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s email scandal over her use of a private server during her tenure as his Secretary of State is a legitimate issue.
Host John Heilemann said, “The worst thing she could have done is jeopardize national security. The president says she didn’t do that. He also takes a shot at Republicans. In every other way hung her out to dry and why? Because he is pissed. According to every source we ever talked to in the White House, it’s felt she violated the spirit of the letter of the law and he still angry about it, and cannot help but let that show.”
