Thursday on Newsmax TV “The Steve Malzberg Show,” former Gov. George Pataki (R-NY), GOP presidential candidate, discussed the Secret Service’s attempt to find embarrassing information on Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) in retaliation for his congressional investigation and blamed the “anti-American” culture of the Obama administration that uses government power to target citizens, which he said “threatens the freedom of every single American.”
Pataki said, “It’s not just a cultural problem with the Secret Service it’s a cultural problem with the Obama administration. You see it now targeting of a conservative Republican, the Secret Service. Look at the IRS which they have glossed over, using that horrible agency deliberately for political gains threatens the freedom of every single American. The Justice Department, which I think has been completely complicit in not going after Hillary Clinton. Looking at other scandals and covering up everything from what happened with the gun running in Mexico to whats happening today. This is a culture of the Obama administration to use government levers of power against the American people in a way that is anti-Democratic, anti-American and should be criminal.”
