Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said “we haven’t seen” “the recovery of incomes” under President Obama in an interview broadcast on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily.”
Hillary stated, “President Obama inherited the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. It was his job to stop the bleeding, begin to repair the economy, dig us out of the ditch we were in, which he has done, begin to see the recovery of jobs. But what we haven’t seen, is the recovery of incomes. We just haven’t seen paychecks rising yet. People have not recovered either their paycheck, or their wealth that was so devastated by the crisis of ’07, ’08, ’09.”
