Among the dozens of babies and infirm people that Pope Francis has kissed during his three-city tour of the United States, perhaps none made him laugh louder than the tot decked out as the Bishop of Rome–complete with white cassock and matching papal miter.
The head of Vatican security, Domenico Gianni, spotted the papal Mini-Me along the Ben Franklin Parkway and hurried over to bring her to greet the Pope.
The child–a little girl by the name of Quinn Madden–was accompanied by her father Daniel and her mother Dana, who had dressed her as close as they could to match the Pope’s garb.
As the popemobile turned a corner the Pope saw the baby and chuckled, according to reports.
After kissing Quinn, the Pope whispered to one of his security guards, who relayed his message to the baby’s parents as they delivered the child back to them.
“He told his security guard to tell us that we have a great sense of humor,” Madden said.
