Republican presidential candidate Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) spoke Friday in Washington, D.C. at the Family Research Council’s 10th annual Values Voter Summit.
In that address, Rubio revealed one policy effort, which was to offer incentives for companies that provide paid family leave to employees.
“Our policies should help workers, not cost them their jobs,” Rubio said. “I believe we can fix this problem by creatively applying our free enterprise principles in a way that encourages businesses to choose to offer more paid family leave.”
