Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke Friday in Washington, D.C. at the Family Research Council’s 10th annual Values Voter Summit.
During that address, Cruz took a jab at President Barack Obama, referring to him as the “world’s most powerful communist.”
“Today, the President of China, President Xi is in town,” he said. “Media all across the world are reporting on this historic meeting between the world’s most powerful communist… and the president of China.”
