Huckabee: United States ‘Chumps’ for Not Securing Mexican Border

GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Justice with Judge Jeanine” to get a chance to speak after being unhappy with the lack of time he had in the CNN GOP debate.

Huckabee got on the subject of immigration, calling the United States “chumps” for not securing the Mexican border and he explained it could be done in less than a year.

“It’s got be secured,” Huckabee said. “We are chumps. You bet we are. We’re chumps not only in the fact we’ve not secured our border, which we should do in less than a year. We build a road between British Columbia and Alaska 73 years ago that was 1,700 miles long and built it in less than a year. Judge, we can get the border secure if we have a president with the will to do it but we have to address the fact that nearly half of all the people here illegally came legally and overstayed their visas and that has to be one of our highest priorities as well.”
